What We Do.

At I'm Adopted, we strive to create an inclusive space for adoptees to connect and support one another.

Through our dedicated community, we have successfully cultivated a thriving global network for adoptees. We facilitate meet-ups (in person or online), offer advice to adoptees, and provide a secure environment through our private group. In addition, we offer a list of online resources, both written and visual, including our videos where adoptees share their personal stories through our An Adoption Story web series.

We have shared thousands of heartfelt narratives within our community, offering valuable insights to those navigating similar experiences. This collective sharing of stories has helped many who may be going through a similar experience, no matter at what point through their journey they may be at. We are here for everyone.

Providing an Online Social Adoption Community.

Our beautiful community is what is close to us. Since we established in 2015, we have grown such a community for adoptees around the world. No matter where you are adopted from, we welcome all adoptees.

Our Facebook page shares resources, stories, upcoming meet up events and stories from the an Adoption story series while our private Facebook group provides a space for adoptees who need to reach out to others. We have rules set up in the group to make sure its a safe community for everyone. This is important for us to have these rules for our community.

Our official Instagram has been able to provide for adoptees more of a close connection with our live talks and discussions. We occasionally associate with other adoption communities around the world and we continue to do so.

Resources for Adoptees.

We have resources on our Website that can provide support who need it. This includes within our online community and here on our Resources section. We also have 12 beautiful stories that we shared for An Adoption Story which is also on our Resources section.

For those who are wanting to find birth families, this is something that we don’t do as a service just yet, but we can always provide advice with this.

Sharing Your Stories.

Since we established in 2015, we have been sharing thousands of stories over the globe from those in our community.

We always welcome stories that are shared through to us. Sharing your story can be done publicly or privately (through our Private Facebook Group).
