The Right Age to Search

Are you adopted? But not sure what is the best age to start your search?

Many adoptees have sent through stories to share on the I’m Adopted Facebook Page with most of them in their late 20s. Again, it is up to yourself if you want to start your own search. Everyone has a different way of approaching the start of the search. We can provide advice on this on our end but the first big step is to know when you are ready.

As an Adoptee the right after to the right age to start your search is that there is no right answer. You can do a search only when it feels right for you. It is different for everyone and when you feel it is right, it should be right.

Take your time on the search and never rush into expectations.
